Trains ... Princeton Junction Train Station (New Jersey Transit) is located approximately six miles southeast of Forrestal Village. New Jersey Transit allows you to bring your bicycle on the train - unboxed. The following links can be helpful when travelling NJ Transit.
Cycling from Princeton Junction ... So, you've decided to bring your bike on the train and cycle the six miles to the start - not a bad idea! Sandiway Fong has created a cue sheet to keep you off Route 1 which can be trafficky. Here are some options:
- Ride Sandiway's Cue Sheet
- Grab a cab from the train station to Forrestal
- Arrange to have a friend pick you up at the station
- Ride Route 1 from the train station, turn right at Route 1 to ride north. Forrestal will be on your left (west side). Take College Road West to cross over Route 1. This is a more direct route but not recommended because of Route 1 being busy
